WE WILL MEET 1 DAY PER MONTH IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING OUR MONTHLY DEFENSIVE HANDGUN MATCH, WHICH TAKES PLACE AT THE PERSONAL DEFENSE CENTER

January 26, February 16, and March 22
approximately 3-4 hours per session

3 Night – Concealed Carry Practitioner Program
Time: Immediately after the regularly scheduled monthly RGW Concealed Carry Handgun Skills Matches aproximately 5:30pm -9:30pm
Where: The Personal Defense Center, Bismarck ND
Details: This course is designed for those people that have chosen to make a firearm part of their personal safety plan. Instruction including, legal considerations, choosing carry methods, choosing holsters, building a personal sustained training program, discriminatory shooting problems, force on force, low light exercises, and first aid. This course has ND POST credits available (for actual hours).
Equipment Required: A valid concealed carry permit or peace officer's license, Your concealed carry handgun, sturdy model specific holster, at least 2 magazines or speedloaders for your handgun and 200 rounds of ammunition per session,optional: handheld light / handgun mounted light encouraged.
Cost: $450 for this 3 Night, 12 hr concealed carry skills course...Tuition must be paid in full to reserve your spot

PRESENTATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IMMEDIATELY AFTER OUR SCHEDULED MONTHLY DEFENSIVE HANDGUN MATCHES

 

YOU WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE MONTHLY MATCH THEN STICK AROUND FOR AN ADDITIONAL 3-3.5 HOUR BLOCK OF DETAILED INSTRUCTION

 

THERE WILL BE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS AND RANGE EXERCISES TO BE COMPLETED IN BETWEEN CLASS MEETINGS

 

COST IS $450 PER INDIVIDUAL AND MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO DECEMBER 31st

RGW Roundtable of Concealed Carry and Personal Safety (monthly lecture) NOT POST APPROVED- A discussion class featuring a different personal safety subject each month. Sub topics are broken down into three primary areas; legal issues related to the subject of the month, a case study related to the subject of the month, and introduction to a skill related to the subject of the month. Class lasts opproximately 2 -2.5 hours. Attendees are given a short booklet outlining the topics.

RGW Running the Defensive Handgun flyer POST APPROVED New for 2017 updated to 1 and 2 day options, all classes now include a force on froce and first aid training : range safety briefing, the basic manipulation of defensive handguns, and fundamentals of marksmanship. Includes 5 hours of live-fire range drills designed to build solid combat marksmanship skills.The use of cover and concealment is stressed as well as the advantages of movement. Students are required to bring their carry handguns and a minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition. Students are introduced to advanced handgun skills including malfunctions, one hand manipulation, multiple targets, and unorthodox positions. A variety of drills are shot to assess and develop shooter skills. Students will be graded on basic competencies of safe gun handling and target engagement.

RGW Running the Defensive Carbine flyer POST APPROVED New for 2017 updated to 1 and 2 day options, all classes now include a force on froce and first aid training: range safety, basic maintenance and cleaning, AR15 setup, the basic manipulation of the AR15 and fundamentals of marksmanship. 4-5 hours of live-fire range drills designed to build solid combat marksmanship skills and expose students to unique markmanship situations. The use of cover and concealment is stressed as well as the advantages of movement.

RGW Running the Defensive Shotgun flyer POST APPROVED New for 2017 updated to 1 and 2 day options, all classes now include a force on froce and first aid training: range safety briefing, the basic manipulation of defensive handguns, shotguns, and fundamental marksmanship. Includes 4 hours of live-fire range drills designed to build solid combat marksmanship skills. The use of cover and concealment is stressed as well as the advantages of movement. All drills are performed while wearing sidearms.

RGW Basic Handgun Safety and Marksmanship NOT POST APPROVED
1 hour of classroom instruction including safety, maintenance, storage, and the function of basic types of handguns. Includes 3 hours of live-fire range drills designed to build solid marksmanship foundations. All drills are performed while wearing sidearms. Students are encouraged to bring there own handguns and a minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition. Prerequisites include: NONE

RGW Basic Rifle Safety and Marksmanship NOT POST APPROVED
1 hour of classroom instruction including safety, maintenance, storage, and the function of basic types of rifles. Includes 3 hours of live-fire range drills designed to build solid marksmanship foundations. Students are encouraged to bring there own rifles and a minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition. Prerequisites include: NONE

North Dakota Concealed Carry  Permit: Class 2
A 1 hour open-book test. No classroom  instruction. (price capped by ND State Law)

North Dakota Concealed Carry  Permit: Class 1
4-6 hours of classroom instruction including a 1 hour open-book test. A 1 hour block of range  familiarization/range safety briefing and live- fire testing. (price capped by ND State Law)
